What started as a chance encounter ended with 6 solid years composed of good days and sometimes bad, that always end up with compromising- learning about each other, letting the other win the argument because you love that other person too much- too much, to lose that other person to your pride.
6 years of that quiet fire burning. It doesn’t need anything to burn, it just does. Organically. Brightly. Blinding.
